Allerton Manor Golf Club's Transformation Given Green Light!

Green Circle Leisure is thrilled to announce a major victory in securing planning approval for the transformation of Allerton Manor Golf Club, nestled in the heart of South Liverpool. A decisive move by a Government Planning Inspector has overturned the December 2022 refusal by Liverpool City Council, paving the way for the development of Green Circle’s flagship leisure facility.

The revised plans include a luxurious 66-bedroom hotel and spa, incorporating the refurbished Listed facade of the site’s historic Manor House. These plans will position Allerton Manor as a premier publicly accessible golf and family leisure destination in the region.

The Masterplan Encompasses:⠀

Green Circle’s visionary approach extends beyond leisure – it’s about community growth and prosperity. With these ambitious additions, we anticipate the creation of over 200 jobs, fostering economic growth and providing valuable employment opportunities for the local community.

Green Circle Leisure have unveiled new plans for the proposed 4 star boutique hotel at Allerton Manor Golf Course. The new design, by renowned Liverpool-based architects, Brock Carmichael, will save and restore the remaining facades of the original Grade II listed Manor House.

The historic structure is currently in a severely dilapidated condition, with most of the building being destroyed and lost due to a fire in 1944 when it was occupied as a private residence. The valuable heritage building is now at imminent risk of collapse.
